After five years of delivering HUJAK's community keynotes at JavaCro and Javantura conference and presenting how Java is popular and why should we use it, this time we have decided to give you something a bit different. Of course, it will still be a community talk about the technologies that we are mostly interested in and that we like the most. However, we will try to change the perspective a bit and talk from a typical Java (or similar) developer's point of view and a software development company from our country. We will talk about the platform itself and its future, but we also need to show what developers are mostly using and why. For the first time, we will present some data from Croatia and compare it to the EU and the rest of the world. We will also talk about the skills we have and education we can get, and its appropriateness to our and, even more important, global market. At the end, as usual, there will be a lot of information about (y)our favorite Java community and some nice giveaways.
