Java EE's path to a cloud is a long and thorny one. Many repackaged server tried to ascend, only to fall under their weight. Last year, we said goodbye to Thorntail (maiden name: WildFly Swarm), who was replaced by Quarkus as the next contender. Learn how migration from one to another went and do we have a winner.

Software architect with 20+ years of experience in the Java ecosystem. Mostly worked on international projects for telecommunication and transport industries. As a member of the Agile Board in Fortune Global 500 company division, participated in the definition and implementation of the agile process.
