Current and future trends of Computer Vision and Deep Learning

Are you aware of the fact that recent years we have broken through inventions in ML and Deep Learning, especially in the fields of computer vision? Do you know, that even complex objects, like peoples' faces can be represented by simple vector with VAE or GAN? Does computer can really see and recognize objects like people, cars, pets, etc., like we can?During our session we are not only answering questions above in theory, but also review in detail how it works and check how we can change faces on photos of people and even generate new ones, which, probably even do not exist in the reality in practice with VAE.Other than that, we review some of hobby projects with computer vision like smart surveillance camera, which can not only detect intrusion, but also distinguish if is a person or just a neighbor's cat; or detect problems with 3D printing and stop print to save 3D printer from damage and reduce waste of plastic.
