Microsoft is probably not the first thing that comes to mind when you think about developing Java applications. Their relationship was maybe not ideal in some older times, but in later years Microsoft has taken a lot of effort into joining and enriching Java development world.
Microsoft Azure is currently the second most used cloud provider behind AWS and with the probably highest growth in market share among top cloud platform providers.
This presentation will in short try to show you a few things that Microsoft Azure can offer to you as a Java developer for developing and deploying your applications.

Marin Kalapać, author
Marin Kalapać graduated from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in 2013, earning a master’s degree in Information and Software Engineering, and from that point started his professional IT career.
After that mainly worked with Java, Spring Framework, and MSSQL for creating various web applications, services, and other solutions.
Currently, he is working in Trilix as a backend development team lead.
