AWS Fargate is a service that enables us to run applications in containers without worrying about servers and supports both Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). The aim of the presentation is to explain the basic concepts related to the AWS Fargate service and to show how to deploy a simple Spring Boot application packaged in a Docker container to AWS Fargate (ECS) behind the Application Load Balancer (ALB).

Miljen Stanković has more than 20 years of experience in software development. He is currently employed as a Head of Technology Office at Libusoft Cicom. Before that, he also worked as a programmer, database administrator, and Head of Database Department. He holds multiple certificates including Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
