I have worked for more than 5 years on Infobip’s platform services. This provided a unique position to see how clients use and abuse Infobip’s platform, together with all the different failure modes of the services processing those client requests. From there it was easy to become the one who’s constantly reporting platform issues and incidents. This is my third year as an SRE, and together with my team, we are battling the need for fast, quality and cheap software. A wise man once said: SRE is not a title, it’s a condition.
